Welcome to the website for St Mary the Virgin church in Laverstoke and Freefolk.  Laverstoke and Freefolk is one village sitting halfway between Overton and Whitchurch. The church is in a partnership (benefice) with St Mary’s, Overton, Anglican churches in the Winchester Diocese.

We are the church for Laverstoke and Freefolk residents and we also welcome quite a number from Overton to our regular services which are at 9.00am on the 1^st, 2^nd and 4^th Sundays of each month.  We also have special services at other times to celebrate Christmas, Harvest and Easter.  See the Church Services page https://stmaryslaverstoke.org.uk/churchservices/ for further details.

The church is usually closed during the week but St Nicholas Church across the road which belongs to the Churches Conservation Trust, is open every day and is a great place to go for quiet prayer and contemplation.
