Inside the church

Regular Services

9.00 am on the 1st, 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month.

We meet in the chancel which is the area at the front of the church with the choir stalls and altar. Our services are usually Holy Communion using the much loved traditional Book of Common Prayer 1662 version. We may have BCP Matins on the 4th Sunday of the month.

From May to September the service on the 1st Sunday of the month is held in St Nicholas.

May 2026:

3rd: 9:30am Holy Communion – St Nicolas

10th: 9:00am Holy Communion -St Marys

17th: No Service

24th: 9:00am Matins – St Marys

31st: Rogation Walk starting at St Marys at 9:00am.

“We will be marking the Rogation Sunday in our benefice. Traditionally this involves walking the Parish boundaries and praying in various locations. Charlie is minded, instead, to walk between our six Churches – starting at St Mary’s in Laverstoke at 9:00am, then visiting Overton, Ashe, Deane, Steventon and North Waltham Churches and finishing up at The Wheatsheaf for a well-earned drink and possibly lunch. His very rough timings are :

Laverstoke : 09:00 | Overton : 10:30 | Ashe : 11:15 |
Deane : 11:45 | Steventon : 12:45 | North Waltham : 13:15

He would be delighted if anyone wanted to join him for the whole walk, or legs, or just meet him at the Churches for prayer & sustenance

June 2026:

14th: No service

21st: 9:00am Holy Communion – St Marys

28th: No service
