A grade II listed building, it was built in 1896 to designs of the architect John L Pearson who also designed Truro Cathedral amongst man other church buildings. It was constructed in flint with bath stone dressings and has a steeple on the south side containing a chapel. It is the spire of this steeple that is in urgent need of repair today and will cost in excess of £70,000.
